Privacy Policy
Effective August 7, 2026
123Chair is booking and back-office software for barbers. This policy says what
we store, why, and what happens when you want it gone. It is written to be read,
not skimmed past.
What we store
- Your account. Your email address and a hashed password. We never see
or store the password itself.
- Your shop. The shop's name, city, phone number, hours, services,
prices, and the names of the barbers who work there.
- Your clients' booking details. When someone books an appointment they
give a name, a phone number, and optionally a note. That is what makes a
booking reachable — it is the whole reason the field exists. Shop owners can
also import their existing client list.
- Your books. Appointment history and payment records — amounts,
dates, and the method a payment arrived by (cash, Cash App, and so on).
We do not store card numbers, bank account numbers, routing numbers or any
payment instrument. 123Chair records that money moved; it does not move money.
- Notifications. If you turn alerts on, a device push token so your own
phone can be told about new bookings.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no analytics trackers, no fingerprinting.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your clients' data with anyone
for their own purposes.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
Who touches the data
123Chair runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database, in the United States), and
Apple delivers push notifications to iPhones. Both act only as infrastructure —
they process data to run the service and for no other reason. There is no other
third party.
Your clients' data belongs to your shop
A client's name and number are given to the shop they booked with. 123Chair
stores them on the shop's behalf; the shop decides how they are used. If you are
a client and want your details corrected or removed, ask the shop you booked
with — or email us and we will help.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account. It is immediate and
permanent.
- Shop owners: the entire shop is erased — every booking, client,
payment record, and login. Nothing is kept.
- Barbers on someone else's floor: your login is erased. The shop's own
appointment and payment books remain with the shop, the same way a paper
ledger would.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted
hashes. Every request is checked against the signed-in account, and one shop can
never read another's data.
Children
123Chair is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page with
a new effective date.
